About Our Author

Hi I'm Cynthia Tyous, I am a children's book author.  By day I inspire and educate and by night, I live out my wildest dreams writing children’s books.  I pen stories of those that have paved the way and creates exciting children’s books.

I've authored seven books, Can Pink Elephants Fly?, God’s Closet, Anna Banana the Secret Spy, The Soup Kitchen, Remi goes to the Farm, Connect the Pieces, the Quilt, and A Wellness Journal for Kids.  Writing the Wellness Journal for kids, I stepped into a realm of a healthy lifestyle for our youth. It's a fun interactive journal for kids to express their feelings, set goals, and practice healthy habits.   I love creating encouraging stories to empower children to soar in life. I'm driven with passion that youth can do ANYTHING!

My mission is to share that EVERYONE matters and we can make a difference.

God's Closet is a breathe of FRESH air.  I LOVE how the author shows the life of a Black American family in a positive light.  You cannot help but fall in love with Catharyn.  She loves God, her wise mama, and people.  She so much wants to help those that are in need.  My favorite part of the story is when Catharyn cries and wonders if God really could hear her and does He really listen to kids.  Pages later, she wakes up in excitement and runs to her mama's room.  "Mama! Mama! I had the most fascinating dream last night!

I do not have grandchildren at this time, BUT I look forward to reading God's Closet to them.

Thank you Cynthia Tyous for allowing God to inspire you to write such a beautiful and heartfelt story.  May God continue to give you favor and extend your territory.
